Ghost town Candelaria, Nevada. Gold miners shack. Because of extreme weather the miners built their cabins down in the ground. This kept them warmer or cooler in the summer heat or winter snow and winds.

ART FROM THE OLD WEST. Hello from the Eastern Sierras of California USA. This area is a photographers dream. I have the Sierra Mountains, the White Mountains and the Owens Valley in between. I live in Bishop,California population 4,000 people and it is the largest city around for at least 100 miles. Nevada is about thirty miles away where I photograph the old mining sites and ghost towns and the wild Mustang horses. I want you to see what I see through the camera. I do not use Photoshop.
