This is the Owens Valley. I took this picture while standing in the Eastern Sierra Mountains looking below towards Bishop,California and the White Mountains. In between the mountain ranges is desert.

ART FROM THE OLD WEST. Hello from the Eastern Sierras of California USA. This area is a photographers dream. I have the Sierra Mountains, the White Mountains and the Owens Valley in between. I live in Bishop,California population 4,000 people and it is the largest city around for at least 100 miles. Nevada is about thirty miles away where I photograph the old mining sites and ghost towns and the wild Mustang horses. I want you to see what I see through the camera. I do not use Photoshop. I want my pictures as natural as possible. My pictures consist mainly of landscapes and the old west ,that is rapidly disappearing. I also have a site on RedBubble under my name Marilyn diaz.
